How to use double fire blanket effectively

Retrieve the blanket - Quickly retrieve the fire blanket from its storage location
Protect yourself - If possible, use heat-resistant gloves to protect your hands. Hold the blanket at the corners, away from your face.
Cover the fire source - Approach the fire cautiously and place the fire blanket over the flames, ensuring the entire fire source is covered.
Leave in place - Once the fire is covered, leave the fire blanket in place for a sufficient amount of time to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
Cool after usage - After smothering the fire, allow the covered area to cool. Do not remove the blanket immediately to prevent re-ignition.
Seek professional help - Even if the fire seems to be extinguished, it's important to seek professional assistance and assess the situation to ensure there is no lingering danger.
